The simplest way to get started with the server is to ensure that you have Networking configured as "Bridged Network".
After the VM boots, login as adminuser and execute the command below

adminuser@ubuntu-10:$ifconfig

Use the "inet addr" as {vm.ip.address} in the examples below.

Pre-Installed Packages:

  • Apache 5.3 ****
  • OpenSSHd
    Access your new Ubuntu server directly from a terminal program like putty or the resident terminal in Mac OSX or Linux
    $ssh {vm.ip.address}
    password: adminuser
