This is Release Candidate number 1 of Slackware 13.0. This pre-installed virtual machine starts in at the command prompt and requires you to manually start X-Windows if you do desire.

Once you launch the GUI with the "start x" command you will be be taken directly into the KDE desktop. The VBoxGuestAdditions are installed and functional.

NOTICE: This virtual computer does not automatically start the GUI using the default installation from the ISO.
To start the GUI desktop login in as "adminuser" or
"root"
then enter the command "start x"
